It was 5.5 years when I was first introduced to Human Design. I was coming back from a pretty intense, and rather deep, spiritual retreat that I took place up in Vancouver.
I was excited to bring back some of what I had experienced during my time up with the trees, among other transformational leaders, where I began to tap into a newfound primordial power.
At the time, I was running two different mastermind groups. And, I was meeting with the first group the weekend after I returned.
As we were getting into some of the deep work and practices I learned during my time up north, one of my clients asked me if I had ever explored my Human Design chart.
She had just worked with someone who was studying Human Design, and who has helped her access her chart. She was overflowing with energy to share her experience.
I sort of balked at the idea, at first, as I was feeling a bit overloaded on “woo woo” energy after that trip. But, in her true manifestor form, she activated something in me (unbeknownst to me at the time) to jump down my first rabbit hole.
And, dive down a rabbit hole I did. Something about what she had said stuck with me, and I found myself diving in deep. Then, about 200 more after that. I was intrigued. As a self-proclaimed assessment junkie, this was something entirely different.
I realized quickly that it wasn’t just another assessment tool. It was something so much more. It was a map of my unique energetic coding and wiring.
And, I wasn’t only fascinated by it, I was hooked.
I began to tease it out with my 1:1 clients, seeing what I could read within their charts and how it might affect our coaching sessions. The effect was mind-blowing and game-changing.
It was powerful what started to come through the more I dug into the nuances of Human Design, and in leveraging it as a map to assist my clients in their own journeys, as well.
As I continue to study the language and the elements of Human Design, I started to bring this tool into my work with teams and organizations. The results were staggering.
This went way beyond the work I do with DiSC and Myers-Briggs. It was so much more. When I brought Human Design in WITH those assessments tools, everything shifted.
I was able to help leaders guide their teams differently, and more intentionally. We were able to better understand how their people work, rest, and play best, and how to set them up for greater success based on their design, not a cookie-cutter approach.
Because we are not a one-size fits all approach. We require different coaching, support, and resources. Depending on our individual wiring, we have different ways we access energy and put our gifts out into the world.
Human Design has provided me a pathway to deepen the work I do with my clients, their teams, their organizations, and their communities. They have developed into stronger leaders, too.
As I continue to study Human Design, and Quantum Human Design, on deeper and deeper levels, I love sharing my findings and insights with my clients. It has enriched our discussions and our work together.
As Karen Curry Parker states:
“Human Design in not who you are; it’s how you are.”
As you get to determine who you are. Human Design is simply the operating plan of YOU. It illustrates how you be in the world, how you interact with others and your environment, and how you can truly show up in the fullness of who you are.
It’s your roadmap to becoming aligned AF.
So, I’m curious … have you accessed your chart yet? Do you know the foundational elements of your own design?
If not, access your FREE chart here: www.jovianarchive.com
I’d honestly love to hear about your journey …
