Bringing the Blessings of 2020 Forward ...
2020 was a challenging year, no doubt ... it had far more downs than ups, and rocked our world on multiple levels.
While this past year has been challenging on every level, there still are many blessings we gained that we can bring forward into the new year.
Getting my New Year’s Eve on ... warm, cozy pjs, streaming Blue Bloods episodes with Mom, Mexican food for dinner, with the fire going (it’s cold out there, y’all!).
A light was shined on so many things this year. Things we have an opportunity to grow from, to lead more purposefully and connect to what really matters most.
While so many people are wanting to “forget” 2020, I simply want to put a pin in it and call it done. I actually want to remember this year.
There have been so many challenges this year, no doubt. And yet, there also have been so many blessings.
It’s been a year of reflection, restoration, renewal and resets. We all have been called to pivot on many fronts. And, from all of that ... we’ve been given gifts.
As we enter into 2021, we have the opportunity to carry this lessons, these gifts and these blessings forward. We get to choose to be better because of it.
My New Year’s wish for all of you is to offer yourself space and grace, to honor that which has made you stronger this year, to forgive yourself for the areas where you feel you fell short, and to have gratitude for all this year has provided.
Let yourself grief, laugh, rest, recharge and do whatever else you need to close out 2020 with intention, and move into this next year with even greater purpose and passion. Let’s celebrate what’s on the horizon and give thanks for what has been.
Thank you all for being part of my life and journey. I love you.
With deep gratitude, Candy
